Sad beyond words to hear about Neal Casal’s passing today.

We chase misprinted lies. We face the path of time. And yet I fight this battle all alone. No one to cry to, no place to call home.

Everyone’s got to realize you can’t hold on to the past if you want any future. Each second should lead to the next one.

I don’t know how you house the sin, but you’re free now. I was never sure how much of you I could let in, and I’m free now.

There will be no more lifting half the weight. My will is strong, my back is straight. Whatever lies they told me, I’ll see through them.

I just want to live a simple life and go steady. I just want to know the real stuff. My mind is ready.
